First to perform at the concert dubbed ‘Zimdancehall Blast’ was Platinum Prince. The prince managed to send some tremors into the crowd of close to 2000 people and set a good tone for the night.

Next up was the man of the moment, who hails from Mbare, Killer T. Many were expecting much from him and the ‘Chairman’ as he is affectionately known did not disappoint.

He sent the crowd into a frenzy as he belted track after track, and backed by a live band, the chanter delivered a solid 20 minute set that left revelers asking for more.

Lady Squanda and Ricky Fire also did a good job on the night. However, the two chanters were in some instances using too much vulgarity in their lyrics, something that got the crowd to go wild but at the same time some were put-off by it.

To seal off the show was Dadza D and hmmmmmm….he rocked!

For a solid 45 minutes the Chitungwiza chanter dazzled the crowd with his splendid act and use of interesting catchy rhymes.

Dadza was then joined on stage by Ba Shupi as well as Potato and together they blew up the Coca Cola green, closing HIFA on a high note.
