Sharon Dee made an appearance in the Randburg Maintenance Court recently, asking for assistance to get Ndlovu to pay for his kids.

Sharon, a talented singer famous for her hit Local is Lekker, is demanding at least R36000 a month from the Zimbabwean footalling legend.

According to sources, she wants Ndlovu to pay R13000 for each of the two kids and R10000 to her. The source says: “Ndlovu earns a huge salary but he hasn’t been helping Sharon Dee to bring up the children since they started divorce proceedings.

“She is tired of footing the bill alone while he runs around all over the country surrounded by ladies. She wants him to act like a responsible father.”

The talented singer filed for divorce in the Johannesburg High Court last September, accusing her hubby of infidelity. After she filed for maintenance, the court issued a summons instructing Ndlovu to be in court for a hearing in two months’ time.

According to court papers, she wants the money to take care of all the children’s needs, including medical aid, school fees and transport.

She claims she pays more than R3500 a month in school fees for the older child, who attends a private school, and more than R1000 for the younger child in kindergarten.

Ndlovu is no stranger to papgeld demands. A string of women have lined up for maintenance from the former Mamelodi Sundowns marksman every month.

In 2004, Ndlovu was ordered to pay R1,900 per month in maintenance by a South African magistrate after fathering a child with celebrity-dating Alice Thabulo whom he met while playing for Sheffield United in England.

A Harare woman, Amina Esof, also successfully claimed maintenance against the 35-year-old former Warriors skipper in the same year.

In February last year, Sharon had to read more depressing stories about her husband after Ntswaki Khathong, a Zimbabwean woman, told South African newspapers that she had suffered a miscarriage with Ndlovu’s baby following a two-year affair in Pretoria.

Khathong insisted Ndlovu had told her he was single – only to discover he was married to Sharon, and was dating a string of other women.
