RnB act, Rachel J is set to drop her brand new single and video, ‘Bada Boom’, tomorrow Thursday, August 1.

This is the follow up to her debut offering, ‘Makwikwi’ which she dropped in September last year.

Rachel J co-wrote ‘Bada Boom’ with award-winning act, Roki.

“The song is about love. Bada Boom being an expression of how the heart beats when you think about your lover,” Rachel told the Zimbo Jam.

She added that working with Roki was a memorable experience.

“Working with Roki was delightful. He is so full of life and talent. It was a hilarious experience,” she recalled.

We managed to have a sneak peek to the video and we can safely say it is a scintillating piece of work.

“The video features vixens from South Africa (where it was shot) and the lingerie is part of my upcoming fashion collection,” she revealed.

Rachel says this is one track that people can bounce to at parties.

“I wrote the song with love in mind. Everyone is entitled to love and don’t forget to love yourself. It is about sassy and fast beat hence can be a party song too.”

The singer also highlighted that she is working on her debut album.

“I am currently working on my debut album. I have engaged some amazing for collaborations on the project,” she shared.

Besides the music, the entrepreneur also has a philanthropic side in her.

Through the Rachel J Foundation, she helps underprivileged women and young girls.

Recently she hosted young women empowerment workshop on business leadership.
