It features top gospel musicians namely; Minister Michael Mahendere, Sabastain Magacha and Janet Manyowa.

“I am honoured to realize that I’m the first Zimbabwean saxophonist to release a live DVD. It really humbles me. I thank God for the grace,” said Jose.

“This project tells a story of who Jose Sax is,” shared the ever smiling lad.

“It’s an expression of how simple things can hold much value. That’s why it’s titled Simple Impact. It relates to everyone young and old.”

Seeing that he has worked with artists who specialize in different genres does he have a specific one he likes?

“I believe I can fit in any setting, I would love to do a song with the legend, Aleck Macheso one day. I do not like framing myself to a genre. I do my best to appeal to everyone. I play music,” he responded.

Jose revealed why he chose to work with the artists he has collaborated with on this project.

“By the grace of God I have managed to work with so many artists over the years. Minister Mahendere, Janet Manyowa and Sabastian Magacha are some of the artists who I work with and they have become family to me.”

While virtual gigs have become the new normal in the arts world, Jose would gave loved to launch with his fans and friends in the same space.

“I would have loved to have all our fans to celebrate this release. Their support means so much to me and I appreciate it so much. I’m hoping that our next event will be with all our fans,” said Jose.
