The amazing vocalist hailing from the city of Queens and Kings will be sharing the stage with her brother Asaph, house diva, Lee McHoney, Nate and DJ Nopsa.

“Tonight is a mixed bag of everything really. I have a little something for everyone so expect your souls to be uplifted,” said Mimmie.

 

The sweet sounding vocalist said the lockdown has affected the recording of her EP

“I had just started recording my first EP and had planned to host my own show for the month of May but the lockdown happened and I don’t have access to a studio. Also the lockdown has stolen my income from gigs shows and plenty weddings I would have sang at,” she shared.

She also spoke on what the lockdown has taught her.

“Well first off the world is changing and everything is going digital the lockdown has taught me to move with the times and push my music more on the digital side. It’s taught me to be more creative not just in music but to try another form of art. So recently I started learning how to make jewellery and it’s taught me to appreciate the people who support and listen to my music more.”

 

To date the singer has released five songs which are Khetha, Freedom, Happiness, Selfish and Spread the love.

Mimmie also revealed that she will be hosting a virtual party on her Thursday which is her birthday.

“I’m hosting a virtual birthday live on Thursday. I’m turning 26 and it’s just a way of celebrating as well awe letting people get to know more about who Mimmie Tarukwana.”
