She brought colour to the tribe but she will not be shinning with the boys any more as she will now be focusing on her own career.

Two years of creating memories and dazzling the nation with some sweet rhythms that many believe are the sound of the future have ended for Feli Nandi who yesterday reveled she will no longer be part of the Mhodzi Tribe, which is fronted by extraordinary vocalist and guitarist, Mbeu.

Announcing the developments in a post on Facebook yesterday Nandi said, “It is with great sadness that I announce my separation from Mbeu and the Mhodzi tribe. Due to management’s decision, l have been expelled from the group. I regard this decision with the utmost gratitude.”

We reached the tribe’s management for a comment but they did not say much only stating, “…we have amicably parted ways.”

Nandi highlighted that saying goodbye was difficult for her.

“It is never easy to say goodbye but on the same note I am eternally grateful for all the lessons I learnt, the nurturing, the guidance and the grooming I received from The Tribe in terms of music and so much more. I am the artist I am today because of all the great times we shared.”

Nandi will now be focusing on her solo career under the stewardship of one funny man, Comic Pastor.

As things stand, the renowned comedian will be her manager.

Under the new arrangement, the pastor will be daddy and Nandi daughter based on the post the manager put on his Facebook page.

“Sad she has been dropped from the Mhodzi Tribe hope she will stand alone strong as your dad I say fight on,” wrote the comedian on his Facebook page.
