He then got time to feast at the feet of one of the world’s revered Jamaican outfits, Morgan Heritage when they came to perform in Zimbabwe and hot to pick a few nuggets of wisdom – which is why his style is second to none locally.

His bromance with Jamaican stars kept growing as he found himself in Abu Dhabi performing at a Bob Marley commemoration being backed by the original Wailers band.

Closer to home, he has been sharing notes with Patoranking since they shared the stage in Harare last year.

And a few days ago, it was confirmed that the award winning singer will be collaborating with one of Africa’s biggest reggae/dancehall acts and winner of the BET Best International Act: Africa, Stonebwoy.

“It has always been my dream to collaborate with Stonebwoy,” said an elated Nutty O.

“He is a man I consider as Africa’s biggest dancehall/Afrobeats/reggae act. He is also the most versatile act we have on the continent.”

The ‘Vroom’ singer says he considers the multi award-winning Stonebwoy as a leader on the Afro-dancehall scene alongside the likes of Shatta Wale and Patoranking.

“I featured on a Stonebwoy track that he will soon release. He is scheduled to come to Zimbabwe to release it and shoot the video for the song,” revealed Nutty O.

Meanwhile, back in Jamaica a number of projects are lining up.

“After the Abu Dhabi adventure I stayed in touch with Teddy Riley and our relationship has been growing. He is set to come to Africa as soon as the travel restrictions are eased and we will be linking to do more music and work.

“There are projects that I collaborated on with Jamaican artists. So a lot is happening behind the scenes.”

He lad also shared with us that he will be releasing his debut album.

“Yes, finally, I will be releasing my debut album this year and am so excited. The pandemic slowed us down but now we grinding,” he shared.
