Finding grace is not the choice of man but of God the creator. The bible declares that He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world for us to be holy and blameless before Him, in love.

However, God has a tendency of using man to direct sinners towards his Grace and he did exactly that with FIG Worship Culture through their latest offering dubbed ‘I Found Grace’.

The ensemble which is spearheaded by the multitalented singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Tatenda Gurupira could have just released the album of the year for 2024 not just in the gospel circles but across the music sector.

Talk of well arranged, written and well mixed music then you are referring to this divine body of work.

If you are a fan of power praise music then tracks such as ‘Mumwe Mukana’, and the ‘Hallelujah medley’ by Minister Jubal and Munashe Maravanyika, respectively were made for you.

The two tracks give you an up-tempo vibe that will make you dance like David.

Are you a lover of worship then ‘Anotida’ by Tinotenda Mbasera is for you a traditional hymn that was given a modern vibe but without taking away its roots.

Then another banger which is also the most viewed track on YouTube from the album is ‘Pachigaro Chake Mwari’ which features the multi award-winning Takesure Zamar Ncube.

It’s one of those tracks which gives you the best of both worship and praise. It starts with a praise element and ends with a solid worship mood.

But there are some who just love listening to amazing vocals which are spirit filled, the soaring Tawanda Tehillah Midzi and South Africa’s Mabongie have you covered as they delightfully collaborated on ‘Unwavering Faith’.

To date the Fig Worship Culture team has released seven sizzling tracks and 11 more are set to be released in the coming days.

One can only imagine how deeper the team will be taking us as this seven-course meal has already got us full.

But it could not have been an album worth making noise about had the musicians failed to deliver.

Hats off to the gentlemen on the rhythm section, the mighty Naphtali Gurity Chivandikwa on bass and the incredible drummer, Ngoni Slickbeatz Chikuse. The combination was just fluid. Meanwhile, Kyle Chipoyi was spicing things up on percussion.

Leading the keys section was Anesu Mapfumba complemented by the man himself, Tatenda Gurupira on auxiliary keyboard.

Lead guitar maestro, Takakunda Mukundu sweetened things together with Thabiso Amuli and rhythm guitar.
