For a solid three months, a group of youngsters under the stewardship of Yeukai Chandiposha were working quietly on an arts nuke. Suddenly, the creatives launched their nuke at Reps Theatre and it caused pandemonium in theatre circles and Zimbabwe’s creative and cultural industry at large.
Bongile The Musical is one of the best productions to be staged this year and we will be surprised if it is not nominated at the NAMA’s come February 2020.
Starring the likes of Hope Masike, Bryan K, Tahle and Gemma – this is a must-watch production which shows how collaboration will play a critical role in uplifting the status of the performing arts sector in Zimbabwe.
