Christopher Mlalazi’s play, “Water Games,” which premiered at HIFA 2015, had a second run at Reps Theatre Upstairs over the weekend.

The play, an adaptation of the 1882 production, “An Enemy of the People,” by Norwegian playwright, Henrick Ibsen, features the acting talents of Michael Kudakwashe, Kudzai Sevenzo and Tichaona Mutore. Cornelius Muponda, on keyboard, creates the appropriate aural atmosphere for the various scenes.

“Water Games” was directed by German thespian, Jens Vilela Neumann.

It explores the issue of clean water supply that many cities around the world grapple with, as well as at the politics that may get in the way of ensuring the water is as clean as it needs to be.
