Kenyan outfit recently, Sauti Sol staged their debut performance in the country during the Easter Holiday at the first UnPlugged gig for 2019.
However, the performance was in some instances by the poor sound which was the highlight of the entire event held at Wingate Golf Club.
Most of the artists who performed struggled to deliver the magic they are known to offer as they were trying to work around the sound glitches which were characterized by some serious feedback.
Amy and the Calamities were the most affected as she had to stop and restart a song as the poor sound engineering brought calamity to her set.
The general vibe at the event, however, seemed cool but the numbers seem to indicate that people are not yet ready for re-dollarisation.
One area of concern for some revellers who had missed the memo was the no re-entry policy. As the weather got a bit nippy a few folks were told they could not return to their cars to get their jackets as they would not be readmitted back into the venue on the same ticket.
This publication was later informed that this hiccup was due to a technical problem which saw the organisers failing to avail a checkout system.
