New dates have been set for the Selmor Mtukudzi South Africa tour which was put on hold in September due to violent activities in Mzansi.
The promoters of the tour, Xtratime Entertainment have revealed that the tour will commence on 29 November 2019 at Ekhuruleni Boksburg Hotel, Cape Town and the second one at Mercury Live on 30 November in the same city.
Xtratime Entertainment frontman, Tongai Mbidzo said that revellers should come ready for great music and dance with Selmor and Sandra Mtukudzi.
“Selmor has incorporated a lot of her late father’s music into her playlist. This has been done to continue Tuku’s legacy and continue the musical journey he had established across the globe,” said Mbidzo.
Selmor and her band will be blending contemporary township style and eclectic urban contemporary pop infused with soul.
The band features two veterean musicians who performed with Tuku’s Black Spirit’s, namely, Picky Kasamba and Never Mpofu.
“Selmor Mtukudzi is no stranger to delivering top notch performances and this show promises to bring us her distinctive Sound and style up close and personal” added Mbidzo.
Supporting acts for the tour are: Picky Kasamba, Never Mpofu, Dino Mudondo, Nox Guni, Simba Saini, Tapfuma Tmula and Paddy Watts.
